Discover the natural beauty of Ibiza during your Ibiza yacht charter

The stunning cosmopolitan island of Ibiza may be known as the ‘party capital’ of the Mediterranean, but this island has much more to offer than just a thriving nightlife. Ibiza is home to several beautiful beaches, fascinating historical sites and idyllic villages waiting to be explored. Let the tranquil beauty of Ibiza win you over during your Ibiza yacht charter, and discover another side of this infamous island.

During your Ibiza yacht charter, take time to explore its gorgeous coastline. Spanning 200 kilometres, it is dotted with small coves, bays and over 50 magnificent beaches waiting to be discovered. Offering some of the most breathtaking natural beauty in the Mediterranean, there are plenty of beautiful anchorages to enjoy even before you step foot ashore. Visitors can choose from a wide range of beaches, such as Cala Basse, which is only accessible via boat. Said to be one of the prettiest beaches in Ibiza, this quiet beach is home to several interesting rock formations that create hundreds of pools. One can easily take the tender ashore and explore its many pools before relaxing under one of the many Sabina trees. Other more secluded, rugged beaches ideal for outdoor exploration around the island include Agua Blanca, Cala Codolar and Cala Llarga, which vary from pebble beaches to soft fine sands and surrounding rich woodlands. For a slice of barefoot luxury, head to Es Cubells nestled among the terraces filled with olive, lemon and orange groves.  This small village is home to pristine beaches and several fine-dining restaurants, perfect for enjoying a meal while watching the sunset. The island’s northern side also offers serene, beautiful beaches great for exploring during your Ibiza charter yacht. Es Portitxol is known for its natural beauty, with spectacular tree-lined cliffs dropping into the blue water. Also only accessible via boat or foot, this is the spot to relax and unwind in seclusion. A few kilometres away is another beach, Cala Portinatx, ideal for some rest and relaxation or a day out on the crystal clear waters enjoying the yacht’s full array of water toys.

Aside from beaches and astounding natural landscapes, there are many charming villages and sites to visit on the island. Ibiza Town is the capital of the island and largest city, but there is more to it than just a dazzling array of nightclubs and bars. Filled with world-class restaurants and high-end boutiques, visitors will be spoilt for choice for dining and shopping options. Its Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visitors will love wandering through the cobbled streets of this charming part of the town. Explore the stunning cathedral and castle on the top of the hill of this walled section and soak up the rich atmosphere of Dalt Vila, the oldest part of the town. To see more of Ibiza’s unique architecture, head to the village of Santa Eulària, which is home to beautiful buildings and ornate churches. Stop by the 16th century-old Puig de Missa and take in the stunning views before heading back to your charter yacht. Whichever beaches, villages and towns you decide to visit, an Ibiza yacht charter will leave you craving more.
